    WINTER FIELD DAY - January 29/30 2022
    https://lvsra.org/my-calendar/?mc_id=975

Preparedness is the key to a professional and timely response during any event and this is what local and state authorities are expecting when they reach out to the emergency service groups that offer their services.

The Lebanon Valley Society of Radio Amateurs and Cornwall Ranger Station ARC are coordinating participation in the Winter Field event at the Cornwall Ranger Station cabin again this year.

All radio amateurs are invited to participate.

We will be using generators, and batteries for power to simulate a loss of grid power scenario. Food and beverage will be available. The Ranger Station is heated by a wood pellet stove

Cornwall Ranger Station coordinates are 40.241127, -76.371880

Talk in frequency: 147.315 + offset, 82.5 PL Tone

If you are serious about emergency communications as we are; we welcome you to join us for our yearly event. We are sure that you will find this event a pleasant change and challenge to that of a normal summer time field day.
