National Night Out 2019
National Night Out was August 6th. We potentially got 3 to 5 new members that showed interest in joining and/or taking the test.
We were set up at Cleona and Palmyra. We did have kids that showed up and talked on the radio. Ken (KB3WIB) brought up about changing operations
next year to include a schedule for transmissions of digital every 15 minutes to have a better chance to show what digital can do. The date for 2020 will be August 4th.
We are always looking for more public events to showcase our club and the capability of ham radio. If you hear someone trying to talk on our repeaters, please talk to them.
This way we can make them feel welcomed to amateur radio and to our club/repeaters.
